This Halloween, be part of a brand new kind of TV paranormal investigation with the sole aim of uncovering hard evidence of paranormal activity. Two teams of experienced investigators, using very different approaches and equipment, will be sent into one of the UK’s scariest locations to uncover the paranormal. But will the evidence they gather stand up to the scrutiny of our in-house scientific and historical experts? Will they be able to explain incidents that are seemingly beyond the range of normal? Or will they, along with you the viewer, observe experiences that lie outside of rational explanation? Join us LIVE on 30th & 31st October, exclusively on LIVING. If you dare.

OMG i was sooooo looking forward to halloween and only for the live most haunted, thought we’d have a whole week of it so was disappointed to see its a totally new show and only 2 nights.
I’ll give the new show ago but i dont think anything will ever replace most hauted live it will be very much missed by many 🙁
What ever paranormal programe they put on, it will never be the same. Most Haunted will always be the best. Gutted no most haunted halloween party this year. Hope Yvette and the team dont dissapear off our screens for ever, it would be a tradgedy.

I kept checking the tv channels for Most Haunted Live coming up and as I didn’t see anything I went on the website. I’m so shocked! I can’t believe there will be no more Most Haunted 🙁 It is the end of an era and they will be missed. Good Luck to everyone. Hopefully one day you will come back for a new series 🙂
Well I am mortified. There really is no substitute for Yvette and the team. This Halloween quite frankly is now ruined;dramatic though that may sound thats how t is. “Most Haunted”was part of life. There was always something very special and unique about every experience we all shared and the way everything was growing. I cannot believe it. Yvette,you must have your reasons and I’m sure they deserve my respect,but you and yours will be seriously missed in this house.

Sorry need to post once more as there is no edit facility for my last post. I am pleased to see the end of that deceptive M.H.L so now maybe Stus hair may stand a chance or growing back, that large lady who was spotted by the most haunted team dressed as a queen them became the Historian can now where proper cloths as apposed to riding boots and jodhpurs (hate to be the horse she was riding) but one question remains? What will Ciarán do with all those gadgets he bought to ghost hunt with? Perhaps a documentary where Ciarán go’s ghost hunting in his shed after all we have had one about Yvette’s new horse and carls new Porsche.
Have to agree with sian vaughan’s post. YouTube is littered with Yvette and family and friends little indiscretions. At this moment in time Ghost Adventures seem to be the professionals in the ghost hunting business. Maybe this new show will be the UK version.

i have to agree with what has already been said! i feel sad and let down that the team have just announced that there will be no more MH. i have been a follower for years and think the team should have said a final farewell to its fans halloween would have been the perfect opportunity and fans would have accepted that MH had come to an end!!! good luck to paranormal investigation! just hope they don’t let us down like the MH team!!!!
hay why are they stopping this great fantastic program i wait all year round for the live ones im so upset that a great quality program like this will just be stoped and changed by something no one has looked at yet but i will guess it will not have the same feeling im sorry to say but after this i dont think anything else will ever come to the same standered as it think yhe public should have a say if it comes or goes on a program as good as this sorry all
OMG My daughter in law and I have watched every live show of Most Haunted . Halloween will never be the same again. R.I.P.
If 2010 is the last, then I’m so glad that Ive booked the week off work to watch it!! But I am deeply saddened by the news.

I Love most haunted and have been watching it every halloween on the travel channel……..that sucks the new show wont be on here in the states :(well it was nice watching you…..God bless and good ghost hunting

I am very dissapointed with this !!! I have planned a loong time ago a “most haunted live party ” lasting a few days ! I can’t belive yevet is standing down , awww u was soo good and u made the show soo good ! I’m so sad and don’t think I’ll be watching this crap on Halloween now unless I know yevet is defo there , “god bless you yevet ” and the team xxx u will be greatly missed xx

cnt belive it mh has ended, they could of carried on. they could of got a new presenter 2 host the show. i think mr ross would make a gr8 presenter to take over from yvett on the series

Most Haunted will be missed but you never know series have been known to return after they have seemingly ended.
i smell a rat here,why would yvette stand down with her announcement of her leaving back in july and then in aug we hear a 8 night halloween special ?who was to front that one ?
were karl and yvette hoping to do a “christine bleakley”and hold living to ransom whilst negotiating with channel 5 ,with it all to collapse ?
surely if a MH halloween was to go ahead then an awful lot of pre production work must have been wasted,it must take some planning to carry out an 8 night halloween special in derby and then find a new special being organised by “living”in its place.when did “living ” decide to pull the plug,not just this month i bet !
both my wife and i used to love MH watching all the episodes sicne the start,some boring parts sure,some dodgy bits sure ,but overall very good tv.real shame that we haven,t had a chance for yvette so say goodbye.
so what next for karl and yvette then !?!?!
i hope they reappear in some guise or other they were pioneers in this genre,and now leave the filed clear for the yanks to take all the glory !

Carnt believe mh could do this. They have a lot of dedicated fans that carnt wait for the shows. Ido think that we all deserve to know why no more shows. But I still think we all deserve more. im a real fan of most haunted got most of there dvds. i wondered why they went quiet.hope yvette and karl are ok and not fell out..i always looked forward to my evenings with them and the crew.just hope its not the last we have seen of them all.but i also think we should no what the problem is after all they were like one of the family

Halloween without Most Haunted – it will never be the same without it!!
I constantly look forward to the next series or MHL. Hope there is a change of heart and Most Haunted comes back to our screens. I even bought a sky dish for my caravan so i could watch it when we were away on holiday – that’s how big a fan i am. Totally gutted!!!!

Why are they not having a leaving show? I was lucky enough to be involved with the last show in March and was looking forward to meeting all the gang again.
I think Karl and Yvette are good television , they
have an on screen chemistry that makes viewers
want to watch what they are involved in. However, to me ,Karl is someone who has to always be indulged by all those around him and has been portrayed as someone obsessed with wealth and materialism. I just think he has seen the writing on the wall with regard to Most Haunted and how much more he can hope to get from it. Popularity of the show counts for nothing it seems. I can also imagine him falling out very easily with Living T.V. I think Yvette probably feels she wants something more challenging to her. Good luck to them both, as I do like them on T.V.
As a fan I am disappoined, though not surprised that Yvette and co have snook off without an official farewel to the fans. They have made their millions – thanks to us. However having met them both on several occasions I felt they were very insincere and fake business people. Him more than her in my opinion. Fake as f***
will miss most haunted it was becoming a bit repetitive toward the end with the incessant knocking which seemed to be a distraction from orbs once they had been linked to dust and flying insects.But there was something addictive about the show it really got the adrenaline going and if not taken too seriously was very entertaining especially when Derek Acorah was onboard
so so gutted the mh has come to an end it was one of my favourites so gutted will miss all the most haunted crew and hope the new programme is gd but all i can say is nuffin will ever beat most haunted x
i thought that karl and yvette said that there was to be a most haunted live this year taking place over 8 days. Is this still going ahead or not? We all look forward to the most haunted series so why is it being axed? that is so not fair on us fans.

Just heard about the finish of MH. Very sad and it will be greatly missed. I couldn`t understand why there had been such a long break between the last series and the following one. Now we know why.
so there is no more most haunted at all ever?!?!? on any channel? ive been waiting for news of the halloween live or the next series and now there is nothing? am i right or have a missed something?
