Weather is messed up and not being my best friend atm…i was looking forward to a lovely warm balmy weekend and ended up with the heating turned on…again.

Wish i could afford to live somewhere exotic, mind you, i’d have nothing to moan about if i did…and we can’t have that, can we ???

Well folks, me and Mr debby had a long discussion the other night about ” the devil’s playgound ” and have both joined up !!! i just want to be able to keep up with my kid’s lives….it seems that the only way to find out what’s going on is to look on there, they never tell me anything !!! ….also to see photo’s, it’s a shame that i have to go on there to see their pics, but i guess that’s the way things are done now…..i’m not gonna do lots of chatting on there though…

Mowgli caught her thumb in the car door the other day, had an xray and it’s not broken,,,but OMG, it looks disgusting, her nail is coming off and she has a huge bllod blister covering the end of her thumb and so much bruising…bless her…she shut the car door on herself when she was out with her dad, she’s been so brave .

This weeks were good too, i watched ep 2 last night they went to Brookdale Lodge Zak took his Dog Gracie.
Anyway i am a little ??? remember Dead Famous went to place called Thunderbird Lodge …. ther was a swimming pool, boat house, and a river running through the restaurant ?? Classic ep great evidence.
Well they went there but called it Brookdale Lodge same river running through the place, swimming pool?
It has closed down now but they did not get to go to the boat house so imo it was cut short compared to the DF ep!! Still a good one though really scary stories from ex employees!

A goat is a fab idea , our previous house had a long garden which was very tiresome to cut ,we contemplated then getting a goat !!! our new home is much better to maintain ,plus the guineas have a munch now and then , admittedly it would take them an age to munch their way thru lol !!!!!!!

I have a soft spot for our Zak Baggins !!! and his immaculate frame in them black jeans and tshirt !!!! Nikki stop it take a cold shower woman!!!! lol he is loud as you like isn’t he? but like you said the show wouldn’t be the same without him .they are getting more hits by the day and becoming more credible episode by episode.

Have yet to watch the voodoo ep with Jane ,so get back to you on that one !

Well i planted some already started sunflowers,and we have some dahlia’s to plant as well for the bees!!! so we are doing a bit for bee conservation , plus Mr Nikki went mad planting redonions and lettuce as well , so salad’s r us !!!!

@Claire Blimey what a story .I feel genuinly so sorry for her mother who went to her grave thinking her daughter had gone before her , it’s so tragic . I’t so unreal that nobody cottoned on to them poor girls living there , but obviously their captures were sly at keeping them hush hush for a decade, wicked wicked men , but fortunately a good ending , a great escape and a great neighbour called Charles brought the nightmare to a close .

What kind of a world do we live in eh? It’s no wonder that parents are overprotective sometimes , but you’ve just got to live your life and let them be , see the world .

As for the psychic well oh dear , shame , embarrassment etc , i think if i was Sylvia Bourne i would lie very low , she’ll have a witchhunt if you pardon the expression on her doorstep if not already , she’ll of angered a hell of a lot of folk .

I agree with Vicki that A no MH doesn’t have to have the mediums, but B they did contribute to the show in many ways, C it’s good to be new and have new formats etc, but D dont dismiss the how much success you had with the old format !

The people have spoken, they liked the mediums (specifically David Wells) nothing wrong with going without them, but they can’t deny the mediums will always have a place in the fan’s hearts and minds and will be one of the key things MH is remembered for.

Don’t know, must be getting quite irritated by saying “we’ll let you know, any updates will be posted on here…..” about twenty times a day. Stress has an adverse effect on the immune system, so it’s no wonder he’s not well. Must go into answer-phone mode.

Jane G is great, love her series. I saw the ep on Voodoo the other day and it was very interesting, although I was in the middle of eating a bowl of cereal when the demonstration was going ahead. The episode on poltergeists was interesting too, wasn’t expecting Lorraine Warren to turn up, good to see the doc too.

The Tudors was a fun series, Anne’s death scene was wonderfully acted. Natalie Dormer did a wonderful job of portraying Anne’s last moments with dignity and respect, despite the method of her death being less than so.

Debby, glad to hear you’re enjoying the sun, hopefully we’ll get to see more of it this summer. xxx

Great to hear about your visit to Blickling Hall, it’s a place I’d love to go to, so much history and Anne Boleyn is such a fascinating character. She’s an inspirational, much maligned figure and a key figure in our history.

I personally don’t think Doctor C will be in the new series, he’s made a lot of gestures in support of the former staff, shown solidarity with Chris C and David, Steve Parsons is one of his best friends and he’s still in touch with Billy Roberts. I think the most telling thing was him saying (on record, he was quick to say) that the mediums had a tough time on MH. Although he didn’t mention Derek by name, he was definitely included in that. I think much as Ciaran doesn’t believe Derek, he still acknowledges that some of the stuff that’s gone on with him and MH is unjust and the nastiness is uncalled for. Ciaran gets the credit for setting him up, but we all know who really pulled the strings.

Ciaran also remarked on MH’s ethics, he was highly critical of their tactics of goading the spirits and he added he wished the spirit had picked them up and thrown them against the ceiling shouting “yes, I’m here and you do *not* speak to me like that!” or words to that effect.

The issue around what Ciaran said about MH is interesting, I’d probably be better to speak about it another time. I tried typing about it here, but it just seemed to ramble a bit, so I edited it out. I think Ciaran was playing with the punctuational ambiguity of the spoken word. More on that later.

AHa Nikki……Norfolk Brawd is a goodun ..lol, never worry about me taking offence at anything, i always like to see the funny side of everything……Mr debby thinks i should be called Celtic Kelpie, due to my Boudica obsession …i dunno, he’s opened a new account on EG for me with that name so i guess i’m stuck with it unless you know how to change your username on there !!!!
I’m so sorry to hear about your Dad’s cat…it’s such a shame when they are suffering and you can’t help them isn’t it, but 14 is good for a cat isn’t it ??? it is like losing one of the family when they go …..

Been sitting in the sun today, i’m one of those lucky buggers who goes brown very quickly….Bob rekons i look like a Spaniard !!!!

Planted some Lavender in the front garden for the bees….did you know that they are dying out ??? we need them for pollenation so try to think if you’ve got anything in your garden that will attract them !!!!!!
