Living TV has finally released the rights to Most Haunted back to Karl Beattie and Antix Productions. This means Karl could now take the show to another TV station.
The statement from Living TV said: “We have decided not to recommission Most Haunted and will be giving Antix Productions the right to take it to another channel if they wish,” Sky Living said. “We would like to thank Yvette Fielding and Karl Beattie for all of their hard work and commitment over the years.”
The statement continued: “Like every commercial TV channel, Sky Living is constantly developing new ideas. We recognise our customers’ appetite for paranormal programming and have recently aired a series about popular psychic Sally Morgan and original scripted drama Bedlam, which proved to be the channel’s most successful commissioned series in its history.
“As well as paranormal, the channel will build on other successful genres, from scripted comedy to real-life relationships, which we know our customers also enjoy.”
The news was posted on Karl Beattie’s Facebook and in the Sun Newspaper.

GHOST-busting show Most Haunted has been axed by Sky Living – a year after Yvette Fielding quit.
The channel will return the programme rights to production company Antix, run by Yvette, 42, and husband Karl Beattie.
A spokesman said Sky Living will focus on other paranormal TV, including psychic Sally Morgan’s show and drama Bedlam.
On 27th October 2011, Karl Beattie announced via his Facebook profile;
“Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to get a programme sorted for halloween, getting all the rights back took much longer than first thought. But we are back now, next year we will be looking to go bigger and better than ever before and we will take halloween back.
We are about to sign a very exciting deal with a very large company to take Most Haunted to the next level. So watch this space. And thanks for all of your support and undying loyalty, which in this industry is a very rare thing indeed, thank you all it means so much.”

hi nicky guess what my wife comes from lincoln we went there years ago to visit her relitives they took me up steep hill you may know it living there the cathedral is a thing of beauty and haunted that steep hill nearly killed me i have astma so i was desparate for breath by the time i got to the top
a other place that is very creepy and haunted is alton towers believe it or not when i went there 5 years ago now we went into one of the deserted buildings there and while we was in there i felt as though we were being followed.

sorry its late in the day but i have had a headache all day it feels like my head has been used as a bowling ball
my wife said i was wimping in my sleep and that i sat up and was talking to someone who was not there. strange that i woke up with head ache? no i did not have drink last night

Hi Jason hope this isn’t too personal but have you tried Epsom salts. You can get it cheaper on Ebay they recommend 2 cups per bath soak. But you should start off with no more than1\2 a cup! Also may sound daft but quite by accident i found a really simple remedy for rheumatic pain. It caught my eye as my sister suffers, too bad she is not for trying it but it is chemical free and couldn’t hurt.
1 tsp Cayanne Pepper mixed with 1tbs honey before breakfast everyday. Who knows it might help, apparently you can also mix it with certain oils and apply to painful joints.
Don’t take my word for it might be a load of rubbish but i know the pain relief drugs my sister has to take and it is scary! Hope you dont mind my ramble Jx

@derek its great that you feel your furry companion with you for ages after i lost my beloved cat rory to the road i felt the bed fall and rise sometimes like it does when a cat jumps up on it and also hear faint padding movements after me but i was comforted by this and not freaked.

My interest was sparked by Amityville A True Story J Anson. Got me hooked and i have read most Amityville books. It was my Mums book so i swiped it for a secret read. Unknown to me my big sis and her chums were messing with a ouija and caused real problems in our house which i have only shared with 2 people. Still freaked out by the happenings.

My Mum was regressed a few years ago quite interesting but the woman that regressed her had a really funny voice, (it was taped you see) and to put Mum under she kept saying your legs are no longer attatched to your b…o….d…y. She went through evey limb until she reached her head.
I found this very amusing saying that womans blooming head is not attatched to her own b…o…d…y! Mum did not appreciate this as she was really moved by her experience and felt spooky for a long time after soooo!

but the funny thing is my wifes brother died on the tanker ship the darbyshire which sank in 1980 durring a big storm over japan waters

A good story Derek, i’m glad we are sharing stories, i’ve never truly seen an apparition but a year ago i felt a warm hand patting my back , it was a cold night and i had a dressing gown on in bed and my husband wasn’t there next to me and recently i had a warm breeze on my legs! but i’m not sure it was my feet moving the duvet but it did feel a bit weird. We are all supposed to have spirit guides(which i find interesting)and apparently if u concentrate really hard in a silent room you can ask them to confirm their identity ( a bit like they do on MH) by touching you or sending you a sign i have tried it but didnt get anything maybe my expectations were too high i dont know but i’d love to find out.

Have you heard of “Spirit lights”? I’ve been trying to research them (on sites that look halfway decent) I’m not saying that that’s definitely what you were seeing, but the option did cross my mind briefly, but I don’t know much about them, so I can’t say one way or the other.

what did we all think of ghost hunting last night dont know if you are interested but when i was 3 we moved into a terest house in warrington .
shortly after moving in my mum and dad noticed that the pictures on the wall were falling of some nights we heard things down stairs when we were in bed the stairs in the terest house were steep at the top to the left was my bedroom i was still in cot in those days .
my cot was next to the window some nights the cot would move slightly away from the window dad or mum some times said why did i move the cot i said it was not me about a year after moving in things started to pick up during the winter when the dark nights were up on us we would arive back from town after doing shopping my mum openend the door and noticed that the telly was on but was of when went to town the curies thing was there was a smell in the house when this happend you could bet something else was about to happen that night dad was working nights i was crying because thought i saw something in the bedroom i got in bed with mum when mum said oh god dont look next too the curtains was a figure in whie a male opening the curtains next thing was a shodow over the bed we managed to go to sleep after that the next night in my room there appeared white blobs of lite all over the bedroom the cot moved a little girls voice was to be heard pictures were moving only slightly
they were orbs not knowing that till later in life
i screamed some times when i saw these blobs of lite this happend a lot we would go out come back pictures were on floor telly was on my mum and dad were told to try and ignore this activity as they might go away if dont take any notice well we did this 2 years after moving in the council warrrington bourough bought the street compulsive order
for progrese new hospital in warrington some years after this the hospital was built people said in a one lift at the hospital they saw thing
in the lift figures of a young girl and 2 adults crying some years had passed i was now in my thirtys married we decided too go and check some history of the house heres the weird bit 5 years before we moved into that house a little girl had died of bad illness in the house we got this information from the libary on the cencus register for this but the best bit is the lift at hospital which people have seen things is were the house was we did not do any more searching for information on the little girl too spooky for me .
so thats why i belive in ghost and poltergeist
so when most haunted came along it was right for me make your own mind up what you think i know what happend in cartwright street warrinton in the 1960s thank you take care everybody

I liked him on MHL, he had very funny banter going on with Matthew Smith while they were both on the show, “nice shirt” one minute, at each other’s throats the next. It was amusing to watch. (^_^)
I neither like nor dislike Paul Ross. I think that’s because you’re right, he doesn’t do much beyond the script. I miss David Bull.
I don’t know if he would, though. He might just want to move on with his life, whereas Paul Ross would probably come back if they asked him to.

I don’t know why he left Most Haunted Live, but I do know that he was a Conservative candidate for Brighton Pavilion in 2009, he stepped down before the elections, though. There were rumours that he’d had a disagreement with the party. He’s still on The Wright Stuff on a semi-regular basis, though.
