    erm well i agree with everything you have said , sorry for being a parrot but you know i feel the same way about them going on the internet and the disapperance of historians,parapyschologists,and mediums , hey that’s my humble opinion , i’m not going to be deterred or slagged off for saying that , freedom of speech and all that , like it or lump it, i appreciate all that was aired for us fans in the past ,MH 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,were fab not saying the others wernt but i especially enjoy the old ones for certain reasons .
    well good luck to si and the young lady ,being part of a TEAM is nice when you can get it !

    I know i’m a weird one, but i just love! true hauntings. Real front liners that live it 24\7 and yes, it was a good movie! I was so prepped for it to be a Hollywood let down.
    Thats right they do!, 50+ years of experience in the paranormal field. They hinted at the end of the film, of a possible case they would be covering in the next movie? but they were involved in so many ? 🙂 can you tell what it is yet 😀

    Hmmm well thats what i thought, but, NGMH, aint going on youtbe!!!! According to last nights chat a new MH site is in production right now.
    This must be the MH site Karl touched on in his last article,…. you know the like it or you are banned one ?
    I could be wrong but if that is the case i dont think i will join as the new format does not appeal to me, sorry….. 🙁

    Yes i wonder how Derek is getting on with his book ? i think the last we heard he was … talking to lawyers ???     I say untested when really the cs dvd did give it a dry run but, as far as tv goes its untested.

    He does indeed, and i know, whether folks like it or not Derek was a major part of MH. Absolutely people on Access are still asking about him, and David, and the historians, and the parapsychologist! …….. Those questions are not going anywhere but thats another thing they will not have to put up with on the new site as i imagine Access will be closing down when that is up and running?

    In saying all that, i wish them the best of luck, i am sad i will not be a part of it as i am a MH fan, loved the show, i would not be online everyday talking about it if i wasnt. So i thank them for that as i have found that i quite like chatting online (something i thought i would never do!) and i thank them for the old MH.

    The fact that i have no confidence in the new format is of no consequence.

    I say all this now as i feel out of the MH loop,….. an undesirable…. because i dont agree … but curiosity may get the better of me in time, and i might join the new MH site but the way i feel atm, i really dont see that.

    Right i may as well tell you whats, what! as Access and Tribute is still here right now. 😉

    Remember the little girl who was meeting Y&K, well she only met up with Karl as Yvette is working for channel 5’s The Salon. But she spoke and had a giggle with Yvie on the phone. There is a lovely picture on Access of her and Karl grinning like mad. 😀

    Nice that the Warrens are getting a nod. They were key figures in the case. Looks like it’s the first in a franchise, taken from the Warrens’ case files. Sounds like they have a lot of material to work with. 🙂

    As early as next week, eh? So they’ve got the YouTube Channel, they’ve got the venue and I guess Karl will be picking the team very soon. I await the results with interest.

    Well, it kicked off on Access by the looks of things, Karl threatening to walk out on Access was particularly interesting. I doubt he will, he needs the support of the fans he has left and can’t afford to get too uppity with them.
    As to Simon’s com… Well, it’s what I expected. No more, no less.

    Come on Derek! When’s the book coming out!

    I’d love to know what “lucrative deal” they turned down so that they could screen it online. They did all this for the fans, you know? 😉
    The new formula doesn’t seem that coherent, is it going to be “bigger, better and darker…” OR is it going to be more scientifically-based with more lock offs and a more evidence-based methodology? It cannot be both.
    I think you’re right, the broadcasters are not too enamoured with the new formula. Wonder if any of them asked “is Derek coming back?” 😛 I’m not being mean, Derek is one of the first things people think of when they think of MH. He sticks in people’s minds. Even some of the fans who go on MHTNG say “is Derek coming back?” from time to time. So I was half-serious.

    Derek’s a lucky beggar, going to Salem. That would be a wonderful place to visit on Halloween. They take it so seriously over there, why can’t we do that here? Alice Cooper comes over every year to get Brits to embrace Halloween and celebrate it. It’s a bit of fun. 😀

    At least the nettles and brambles are gone now, the lilies sound beautiful. 🙂

    Yes it stinks …… its just as well i dont comment on Access or they would not like me ….. sorry but i have never hidden the fact that apart from the odd tweak MH was fine. I am not a fan of this new format and imo neither are the networks or it would be on telly already. It is what made MH MH.
    Now its internet only, and its what we asked for? …. ermmmm nope it aint what i asked for …. sure i’m glad they are returning and everyone seems pleased but MH is for tv! and we will not get a Live on the internet will we ?
    Sorry to put a dampener on the good news of its return but for me, its not MH thats coming back its just a trace of MH, of course when i see the new ep i may change my mind but …. well thats just me, also i kind of resent this i’m doing this for the fans! well he aint doing nothing for me.

    Pumpkin one of my Irish Wolfhounds, died today. She was only 5 years old. God Bless You baby, you gave me so much love without asking for anything in return. I hope I gave you enough back. I will miss you so much. Rest in Peace.

    @Claire omg yeah it has remained (the film) like that with me too ,and like you Claire i was emotional but now the feeling is somewhat of a lot of respect for The Warrens .

    Well i attacked those darned brambles and nettles at the back with some very long handled shears ! and me and master nikki cleared up good just got a hooking great pile of greenery to burn now! quik get the mallows out ! lol
    so i’m eeling quite proud of the garden now , it’s starting to look neat also some lovely white pinkish lillies have bloomed , and they look blooming lovely .

    Tina and fudge are nibbling away on the lawn , quite contented .and now i’m pondering what to do for tea later on , i think it will be pasta and meatballs , we took a vote and that came up top trumps lol !!!!!!

    I am absolutely astounded by some of the comments on here tonight. This will be the last post I write on this page for a while, if ever again, as a result. If anyone wants to know what is going on with MH I will post information on my page.

    We have been working so hard to get MH back for you all, you have been so loyal and supportive and we wanted to give you something back. There were many complaints from people who did not have sky and couldn’t see MH shows, many asked us not to put it back on a cable or sky channel, we listened, not just to the UK but to the rest of the world also, and decided to turn down lucrative TV broadcast deals in order to put MH on a platform that would suit the majority for everyone to see, but still people moan. For those who complain that they haven’t got a computer or have the internet I can only refer you to a complaint I received when MH went on for its second series and a fan said, why couldn’t we put it on the radio as he didn’t have a television!

    I am aware, as I always have been, that there are some complete plonkers on various facebook pages who like to cause trouble on this one, but I am now through with reading some of stupid comments that are posted.

    To all of you who have been kind and posted positive words, this does not in any way reflect on you. You are all a great bunch of friends and pals, and I hope you like what we do with this wonderful show that we all love so dearly.

    I had a really wonderful day yesterday at Westfield with TalkTalk and met some very nice people. I don’t think that I’ve ever worked so hard in my life, lol, because I was doing phone readings from 9 in the morning through to 5 at night with only a couple of breaks. It was very satisfying and rewarding being to help so many people and give messages from their loved ones. Thanks so much to the organisers who set the whole thing up and who looked after us so well. It was two very weary people who got on the train at Euston last night though. Today I’m running around doing a few last bits and pieces, such as getting in the chicken feed in and picking up post before we pack for Spain. We leave tomorrow and it can’t come quick enough because it’s been a tremendously busy beginning to the year that has taken us right through to the summer. A few weeks off and we’ll be back, batteries recharged, to commence the autumn tour at the beginning of September.

    Hello Vicki nice to see you there , we know you’ve been busy but that’s a good thing eh? i dont know if you saw my post about going to a spiritualist meeting which was most excellent and still is remaining with me , but i met an old chap there who my Aunty introduced me to , and like you he knows his Egyptology , i mentioned no names of course but said i knew someone ie you who was sooo in to egyptology and that sparked up quite a big conversation lol but shame on me i was trying to tell him a particular family or dynasty you were interested in and for the life of me shame couldn’t remember it ! so apologies for that , but he was a nice chap who seem to know his stuff !

    @Claire awww fantatsic mate soo glad you’ve watched the film , it’s soo brill isn’t it , i was going to send you some info that Mr Nikki gave me about accessing it but i see i dont have to now lol, it is up there on my best movie list , loved everthing about it , it does make you emotional doesn’t it? i seem to cry for quite a bit then calm came over me , then it is still with me the film lol bizzare how some films can make you feel that way .
    anyway sounds promising for MH , maybe we will get a decent halloween yeah !

    I have some fb news today! but first, i watched The Conjuring online yesterday and although its getting mixed reviews i thought it was ?…. a fantastic film.
    They have obviously used different parts of The Warrens case files in there. But in my humble opinion they done a good job.
    It builds up and chills you steady and i found myself sobbing ….It stays with you!

    Not much of a review but i am still processing it 😉 But it was a long overdue nod to The Warrens x

    i have been having massive problems tried giving up doing readings and then i get a man called mitchell start in my work and hes brought (unknowingly ) all sorts of spirits with him driving me mad. but hey hoe.

    @ Nikki aww yes i understand i have experienced the same.
    I think it comes down to who your heart tells you it was ?? The readings happen so fast too dont they, and you dont want to put them off in any way so its hard.

    I had the most fantastic night last night here in Boston. Thank you to the wonderful audience who, although on many cases came into my show sceptical, had the kindness to let me know how I had changed their minds and given them food for thought by the accuracy of my demonstration. A big thank you to the organisers too who have made my stay in Boston so enjoyable and a special thanks to Lori and Brian who have yet again proved themselves to be true friends. I’m off to Salem today before travelling home later.

    I have just been watching Oprah Winfrey on TLC she was talking to Michael Singer about his book The Untethered Soul hmmmm her show is called super soul sunday 😉

    well i shall tell you of my experience at the spiritual get together , which i have to say My aunty goes to these a lot !
    The lady was lovely who was giving out the messages , very unassuming and very gentle , she made no apologies if she had something that people couldn’t relate to she said she couldn’t change that it was what spirit was giving to her , anyway what seemed like an age of sitting there she came to two people on the front row where we were sitting and i was thinking oh i’ll never get a message , perhaps i’m being a bit too eager for one until she said i’ve got a cat here in spirit and the name …… which is my daughters name , so i gingerly put my hand up ,as my Aunty wasa nudging me ! so she came to me , and i tell you Claire she was soo spot on with our own personal life at the mo , she said , i was going through a topsy turvy time , filling out paperwork as something hasn’t gone to plan , and these things happen , but it will come right in the end , also that we are having problems with our car , which we are , MOT’s and brakes and all that ! plus she said about Mr Nikki having a bad back and a bit of a belly to which it was spot on and i was laughing quite a lot as was my Aunty , also she described my lovely nan and my grandad that i never knew as there was a big height difference between them which she said ,these are my Aunty and my Mum’s parents ! and that my nan was a bit confused before she died but her Sister came to fetch her , which was one of my lovely Great Aunts ! It was soo comforting to hear that and i feel very blessed to receive a message ,and so ecstatic that they are watching over us , i felt very warm throughout the ceremony and at times my neck was itchy , but it was a fabulous experience and one which i would love to repeat again sometime with my Aunty ,my mum wont go to these as she is scared , she believes in spirit i think but it does scare her as it does my sister , but i think itake after my Aunty in that respect!
    My only regret is that i didn’t ask the lady what colour the cat was ,as i would of got a clue to which cat of mine it was ,if she had said grey then i would of known that my flash who ran off was finally in spirit ,as it’s the not knowing where he is that troubles me .
    Anyway if you can get to one Claire then i would highly recommend it , i still feel all them words and love even now and it’s given me hope in this very testing time in our family life ! can’t be bad eh?

    yes my hols are coming up on the 24th of this month ,so plenty of talking time before that !

    out in the garden today in fact in and out , took a breather to write to you lol as my back is twinging thru weeding and that’s my cue to take a breather lol , gosh the garden needs it though ,and Mr Nikki has just mowed the lawn and got that stripe effect ! how does he flippin do that? i cant do it! , lovely day today a little cooler which is such a relief , i dont like complaining but it has been scorchio ,especially at night time .

    No MH news but worrying reviews are surfacing re The Conjuring ie all the good bits are in the trailers! and that it has no real identity just a mish mash of 70’s & 80’s Horror films. This is troubling news indeed but early days so fingers crossed.

    Legend Trippers are haunting the Farmhouse and its owners its very sad last i heard Warner Bros had placed a 24\7 guard but that was obviously just a threat ………

    My dear friends & followers on this page and the book page, I am frightfully behind in correspondence and I don’t want anyone to feel hurt or ignored. It is simply beyond me. I am burdened with remorse, weighed down with regret. The past few days have been dark ones. Bathsheba’s gravestone, a relic from 1885, one painstakingly restored last year, has been desecrated. The farm is besieged and my friends have no more peace & quiet in their own home. I ask everyone to keep them in the Light. Evil acts are being perpetrated against my own in my little hometown, all because of a movie. It is beyond my comprehension why anyone would destroy a sacred shrine or threaten the sanctity of a private dwelling. I commend the Burrillville Police Department and the people of Harrisville for their assistance with this pressing matter. My heart is as broken as Bathsheba’s gravestone. ~ Andrea — in Rhode Island.

    I saw a post recently stating that none of the families who subsequently lived in haunted locations like the Amityville House or the home featured in the movie, “The Conjuring,” have experienced paranormal activity.

    That doesn’t surprise me at all because none of the families who have since resided in the very paranormally active house that my family and I live in when I was a child have reported any strange occurrences either.

    But why does this happen???

    I believe that it is the combined energies of the living and the dead that produces results. And when those energies meet – and sometimes, collide – paranormal activity occurs.

    This is especially true if those who are living in (or working or visiting) a location are psychically sensitive. Their abilities to connect with the spirit realm are often recognized and acknowledged by disincarnate beings, thus producing activity.

    Also, when our intent is to seek connections with the afterlife, sending out that intent or energy may (and often does) produce results. I firmly believe that “the intent of the seeker(s) affects the results” during paranormal investigations and other forms of spirit contact.

    When my mom, dad and I lived in the haunted house is New York, we provided a perfect platform for spirit contact and communication. I was a psychic kid, my mom also had unique psychic abilities and my dad was a healthy skeptic, although open to possibilities. Obviously, our collective energies melded with the spirits of the Murphy family, former owners of the house, who “lived” there with us long after they were dead.

    It’s all about energetic connections…combined with intent and circumstance.

    Just because a location was once very actively “haunted” doesn’t necessarily mean that it will remain “haunted.” But when a “perfect paranormal storm” occurs, that’s when the “fun” begins…

    Hey gang, we are postponing tonight’s radio show, “Paranormal Insider Radio,” due to a few factors. One, Lorraine is a little under the weather and there is a last-minute scheduling conflict, so Lorraine’s interview will have to be postponed. Additionally, we are still in the process of rebuilding a new PI Radio, including a new studio, and so PI Radio will go off-air for TWO WEEKS. We will also be announcing a new day and time for the show when it re-debuts the week of August 12-16th. That being said, we WILL be airing a special-edition of PI Radio this week, which will offer special coverage and interviews in celebration of “The Conjuring.” We will announce the date for this special broadcast tomorrow. We want to give ourselves two additional weeks to allow for more time with creative and tech.

For any night owls still up, here’s an interesting paranormal case… one of my favorite’s: The Enfield Poltergeist (fun fact: Ed Warren assisted with this investigation. While over in England with the family, the spirit at Enfield spoke to Ed and made a reference to Annabelle The Doll, implying that she might not be in her case.     Another lovely day …….. I made a small breakthrough with the nice Bunnie yesterday afternoon 😀 Hehehe just call me the Bunny Whisperer it took a carrot from me so i am not so put out the little ratbags ignored me all week i got spat at kicked and growled at. The important thing is their ALIVE!!!
    Mummy Bunny came around today with some flowers and biscuits some people are so nice.

    Did anyone catch Yvette on BBC Breakfast this am? I seen a bit they showed a clip of her way back on BPeter she laughed saying that she sounded like a Chipmonk on helium (have to agree lol) But apart from the big hair ahem she looked exactly the same eh?
